What You Can Do at STS Marine Solutions

As a POAC, you will:

·       Lead and advise on complex STS transfer and offshore mooring operations worldwide.
·       Act as the designated Person in Overall Advisory Control (POAC) during critical marine activities.
·       Work with international vessel crews, terminals and clients in diverse operational environments.
·       Make key operational decisions that directly contribute to the safe and successful completion of marine operations.
·       Apply your expertise to support industry-leading safety standards and best practice.
·       Mentor and support the development of marine professionals across the business.
·       Contribute to the continued growth and reputation of STS Marine Solutions as a trusted global marine services provider.

What We're Looking For

Essential Qualifications

·       STCW Master Mariner Unlimited Certificate of Competency.

·       Dangerous Cargo Endorsement (Oil and/or Gas).

·       Valid seafarer's medical certificate.

·       Experience conducting Ship-to-Ship (STS) transfer operations.

·       Recognised POAC or Mooring Master certification

·       Extensive tanker experience, including command experience on oil, chemical, product, LNG or LPG tankers.

·       Demonstrable experience acting as a Mooring Master, POAC or in a similar marine advisory role.

·       Strong working knowledge of OCIMF, ISGOTT, SOLAS, MARPOL and STCW requirements.

·       Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

·       Previous experience working within international marine operations.

·       Additional qualifications in safety, risk management or marine training.
